Registration is $25 per dog. 100% of the registration fees will be given to the participating animal charity groups with 50% going to K9s for Warriors and the remaining 50% being split between the other participating animal charity groups.

Only 1 owner (age 13 or older) will be able to stand with each dog during the ceremony for safety purposes and in order to get an accurate count of the participating dogs.

A separate viewing area will be available for other wedding guests, and the event will be livestreamed on Facebook.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ
In order for our Largest Dog Wedding Ceremony attempt to be formally recognized as a world record, the following conditions must be followed. Compliance will be verified at check-in on the day of the event as well as during the event. By registering your dog for the event and paying the $25 registration fee, you agree to the following requirements:
  • All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times during the event. Leashes must be under 8 feet long.
  • Retractable leashes are NOT permitted.
  • Prong and/or shock collars are strictly prohibited.
  • All dogs must be up to date on all vaccines.
  • Participating dogs must be at least one (1) year of age.
  • Female dogs in heat are not permitted at the event.
  • Participating dogs may NOT wear any special attire, such as bandannas, clothing, jewelry, etc.
  • Participating dogs may not have any body modifications beyond standard grooming, such as dyeing, painting, etc.
  • Each dog must have an owner with them at all times. Owners must be in control of their dogs at all times and are responsible for their behavior.
  • An owner may only supervise two (2) dogs during the event IF THEY ARE MARRYING EACH OTHER. Owners bringing more than two dogs to the event must have a separate adult (13 or older) supervising each dog.
  • All COVID-19 guidelines per the CDC, IDPH and State of Illinois will be followed, including mask wearing and social distancing as indicated at the time of the event.
  • By participating, all owners give consent for themselves and their dog(s) to be photographed and videotaped for the purpose of verifying the results. Images may also be used at a future date online and in print for marketing purposes with no additional compensation.
